  • Version 1.3.0:
    • Reworked the entire character caching method, fixing caching issues that could cause sprites to disappear when the player is transferred to another map in MZ;
    • Changed method that checks if image file exists before trying to load so it can work properly on web and mobile deployments;
    • Added a new parameter to enable / disable checking if files exists before loading;
    • Added 8 directions movement and sprite support;
      • There's a known issue here. Changing from 8 directions sprites to 4 directions while a character is moving (for example, from walking to dashing sprites) can cause weird effects which I don't intend to fix anytime soon, since that transition doesn't seem to make much sense to me!
